What To Invest On For Your Blog

What To Invest On For Your Blog

When I started my blog I was overwhelmed with resources. Free resources, fee based resources, e-courses, Facebook groups, etc.. Its awesome and overwhelming with how much is out there! To avoid analysis paralysis I made a decision on what to invest on and never looked back! To help all the bloggers out there, I have made a list of resources (free and paid for) on what to invest on for your blog.

Purchased Resources:

Suzi’s Ebooks are great and so easily to follow. Since starting my blog I have purchased the Blog By Number Ebook and Course, Email, and Income Journey. Everything has provide a clean, easy to read method on how to be successful with your blog. Suzi’s price point is very affordable for new bloggers who are not making money yet. Without this resource, I don’t think I would have had the ability to start my blog and website from scratch.

Siteground is a company that offers web hosting services . SiteGround’s customer service is on point! They have helped me via chat multiple times, even when I was in need of help with transferring site ground to my website domain. I was blown away with how easy they have been to work with. In adding to excellent customer service, they

I am not great with photographery, or creative enough to design beautiful images for my blog and social media. That is where PicMonkey comes to the rescue! I paid for the premium service so I can edit and improve my pictures, and quickly make images for my posts and website.

Similar to PicMonkey, Canva is another great site that makes marketing easy peasy! The free version is fine, but once you start marketing your posts more you’ll want to easily be able to resize your graphics. By the click of a button the premium version of Canva does that for you! They also have awesome templates to make your graphics look professional!

Tailwind is a newer investment for me, but I already see the value in it. For months I was intermediates but Tailwind, but with a quick google search, I figured it out in less than 5 minutes. Tailwind allows you to schedule pins, so you don’t have to manually do it. I try to schedule pins once a week, spending about 20 minutes and I’m done for the week! Other bloggers always comment on what a game changer Tailwind is for their blog.

In my opinion, these paid for investments were a relatively low cost for something I will make a career out of. Canva, PicMonkey, and Tailwind were “extras”, however they have all saved me a TON of time with creation of graphics and scheduling pins (which is where most of my blog traffic comes from).

Free Resources:

Join Facebook groups as a way to share your content! Many blogging specific groups have daily shares where you can push your content out there. Check out my free daily to-do list for bloggers for the list of Facebook groups I use daily.

Like the Facebook groups, Linterest group boards are awesome to circulate your content. Boards usually have requirements of 1 for 1 sharing, meaning if you pin something, you must reciprocate by repinning something else. You can request to join my Pinterest group boards here!
