March Goals

March Goals

Wow! Did February fly by or what?? I am baffled how it is already March. With a new month (new week, new day, new hour), I love setting goals. One thing that is so important is to set goals that are measurable. This is something that is heavily emphasized in my mastermind group. Small measurable goals that are done consistently. With lot of reflection I have realized I take on too much and put way too much pressure on myself to get everything done. My main goal for the month of March is grace. Everything cannot and will not be perfect, and that is okay! With that being said, here is a list of goals that I plan to imperfectly meet in the month of March.

Follow the 131 Method

Ive mentioned a few times on the blog how I was doing the 131 Method. I stopped following it, and want to jump back in. I really love the 131 Method because you make your own rules based on how you feel and what your body tells you. For me, this is avoiding caffeine, too much dairy, gluten, processed foods, and added sugar.

Drink a Gallon of Water a Day

I feel my best when I drink a gallon of water a day.

Prioritize Sleep, 7-8 Hours a Night

This is something I have been struggling with. I end up laying in bed scrolling on my phone instead of trying to fall asleep. I don’t give myself too much downtime to the day, so I feel once I am in bed I am finally able to relax so I don’t want to go to sleep! By eliminating being on my phone in bed, it will help me get to sleep earlier.

Workout 5 Days a Week

Luckily I love working out! It has always been a passion of mine, but after having kids it became easy to let the consistency fall. I took the plunge a few weeks ago and signed up for a Orangetheory membership and have been so happy with my decision. I got an unlimited membership so I will go 5 days a week, unless I am too sore, where I will do yoga or some other type of workout.

Blog Consistently

This has proven harder than I thought it would be! I have so many ideas and things I want to do, it has become overwhelming and I find it difficult to start. To simplify things I am committing to spending an hour every day on my blog (anything beyond an hour is a bonus-but no pressure). I will spend 20m a day writing, 30m a day marketing, and 10m a day on graphics.

Practice Grace

I will give myself permission to not need everything to be cleaned, organized, and done. It is impossible to do everything, so I need to focus on the must-dos vs the like-to-dos. Spending time with my family, prioritizing my health, and focusing on my blog are criotiies. The dishes, vacuuming, laundry, trash are not, and will get done when they get done.
